About

I like the moment when firmware, sensors and software stop being separate things.

I'm Yuvraj — a third-year Mechatronic Systems Engineering student at Simon Fraser University, based in Surrey, BC. My work sits at the seam between hardware and software: Raspberry Pi robots that see and avoid obstacles, ESP32 motors held steady by PID loops, web apps that talk to real backends, and hackathon builds that ship in a weekend.

What I care about is the full loop — designing the mechanism, wiring the sensors, writing the firmware, and building the software on top. Recognized on the Dean's Honour Roll, and driven by a simple test: does the thing actually move, sense, and respond in the real world?

Off the bench: film and documentaries, badminton, cricket, and swimming. Fluent in English, Punjabi, and Hindi.
